I really enjoy talking with people about real things — the stuff that matters, the parts of themselves they don’t always bring up but that are deep and valuable.

For most of my career, that’s happened one hour at a time, in my office.

But I’ve been realizing that some of what I say in those sessions — some of the things I really want people to hear — can actually be shared through stories.

And maybe even more importantly, stories are easier to take in. People can read them whenever they want, come back to them, keep them close.

The only problem is… people don’t know the stories are out there.

So now I’m learning how to help these stories find people — and how to help people find them.

It’s new for me. I’ve never had to do marketing before — my work has always found its way to the people who needed it. But this is different.

And honestly… I don’t fully know what I’m doing yet. It’s trial and error, intuition and adjustment. But I know I want to be here, making this, learning as I go.
